Welcome to Hoosier Hills: Bloomington - ASQ Section 0923

The American Society for Quality (ASQ) is the world's leading authority on quality. With more than 100,000 individual and organizational members, this professional association advances learning, quality improvement, and knowledge exchange to improve business results, and to create better workplaces and communities worldwide. The ASQ is the parent organization of the Hoosier Hills: Bloomington Section 0923. We received our charter in 2002. The Hoosier Hills Section of the ASQ is one the key quality resources in South-Central Indiana. Our Section has more than 100 members and represents a diverse group of industries and service organizations.

Many of our members are from manufacturing organizations. In addition to manufacturing, we have a strong bio-medical and medical-device presence. We also have representation from several other business disciplines and industries with service as one of our growing sectors.

Our Section:

promotes the use of quality principles in the work place and community;
increases the understanding of quality concepts among our membership, community leaders, and business management;
provides networking opportunities; and
raises the professional standing of our members.

We meet on the third Thursday of the month between September and May, except December. Check our program schedule to verify the meeting date, time, and location. Meetings consist of a business meeting, socialization, and a presentation on a topic of interest or workshop. Our meetings are open to anyone wishing to attend.
